Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (PAARI)

What is PAARI?

PAARI logoIn this initiative, Police Departments in Morris County will be given the opportunity to join 400 police departments in 32 states to launch the Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiative (PAARI).

The PAARI program is designed to give individuals with substance abuse disorders a safe way to seek help for their addiction at a local Police Department, where the individual will be screened by Law Enforcement and assisted by a Daytop New Jersey certified Peer Recovery Specialist to obtain treatment and recovery services.

Any person who enters participating police departments and requests help with their substance use disorder will be screened for PAARI.
